I have a crisp tone to my voice that can have a hint of southern drawl if need be. Of course, being from the South, I can sound like a real redneck if you really want. Most people can't place my accent unless I say Alabama, and then, the cat is out of the bag.

My Voice Experience

I was a morning news anchor for a local radio station. I read quick, but at a listening pace, not the tale end of a car commercial. Listeners that met me could not stop talking about my voice. They said they found it comforting and loved waking up to it.

My Training

I graduated from Columbia School of Broadcasting in San Diego, CA, where they promptly went to work on my Southern accent. I learned how to keep it under wraps unless I need it (or when I talk to my mother on the phone). I spent 6 years in broadcasting as a DJ or News Anchor. I enjoyed the anchor position the most since I love to read out loud.
