My Voice Experience

Training customers onsite, how to use their medical software, requires an articulate personality who not only speaks loudly & clearly, but also listens to the client's needs.

Working in X-Ray tech support, I've had a lot of comments on my voice. Sometimes I'd answer the phone as 'Mr. Movie Phone' with customers I knew who could take a joke. They thought that had dialed the wrong number & would redial. I even imitated 'Mr. Movie Phone' on my mobile phone's voicemail to avoid numbers I didn't recognize. One day my supervisor heard my imitation & then asked me to record the voice on the phone answering system for the company.

I was contracted for 1 week to present Rendoscopy's software (3-Dimensional Endoscopy) for a German professor wanting to present it to dealers & doctors at a RSNA convention in Chicago. It was very successful, that he still wants me to work for him, but it's difficult since I no longer live in Chicago.

I've never done any professional voice-over work, but I've been told that i have a hearty & loud voice at karaoke. I have a wide range, singing With or Without You (U2), Stray Cat Strut (Stray Cats), Hero (Enrique Iglesias), etc.
