Voice Description

Beefy-Hearty-Homegrown. I have Midwest but not heavy and can be turned off for VANILLA. My natural voice is great for undernieth the product or calm and direct. I can be the salt of the earth or intense with a rush. Commercial is my strongest and most valuable.

Creative. I have a bag of tricks when it is time for animation characters. Not afraid to deliver, I will open the doors to distinguish several different personalitis. Voice variations are also a personal favorate of mine as I like to act as different beings from different planets and species.

My Voice Experience

I graduated with honors from the University of Illinois. Achieving a bachelor's degree in Ornamental Horticulture, I was confident I could do anything I wanted to do. With a burning passion to entertain and the support from friends and family, I ventured to California to pursue an acting career. With the work ethic my father instilled in me and my upbringing from the farm, I quickly got my agents and started auditioning regularly. I've booked a little of everything and enjoyed all aspect of this 'Tinsel-Town' except the shlepping around LA's traffic. In supporting myself I founded two businesses, BAcKBreAKer Handyman and StoneKrackers Landscape. My passions moved into the VoiceOver world when I found my "voice" and the comfort-zone behind a mic. My goal is to completely remove myself from my businesses and retire doing voice work and small entertainment venues. I'm constantly working on my talent and business skills to provide a marketable force. I work tirelessly to bring what is out there to me. With the support of my Loving wife and two children I stand proud of what I have accomplished and look forward to what I will achieve.

My Studio Equipment

For auditioning I have a top-of-the-line M-AUDIO MICROTRACK 24/96 with MP3 and WAV format capabilities. This instrument is the crem-de-la-crem with punching out auditions when you need them. Seldom do I adjust these MP3's in GarageBand or

I also use GarageBand with my Firewire Solo to edit, cut, and add music to any track I lay out.

I've got a small recording booth in my garage, free from sound and ticks.

If needed, I have a nearby studio to record and send copy. I have a familiar relationship with the owners and engineers at these studios.

Additional Skills

I can do just about any trade in the TRADES industry. I know my tools and can use them just the same. When it comes to building stuff I can run with the leaders of the pack.

I dictate all the time when it comes to training or needing something done on the job.

I love big trucks and fast cars and have pimped out my rides myself.
