My Voice Experience
In 1996, while working in sales at a radio station group (FSR-WPAC)in Upstate New York, I began copywriting and producing spots for clients. The commercials were typically 30-second spots and soon after I was hosting a weekly show and producing promos for it. My voice-over work expanded when I took a job in 1997 at WCIZ-FM. I produced commercials daily for local clients, produced promos and added local tags to national spots.
Voice-overs for television commercials began the following year when I moved into television at WWNY-TV. Television work would continue in the news department at WTEN as an occasional reporter tracking stories. A move in 2001 to Houston, Texas moved me into television programming, but two years later I was back in news and reporting on occasion again in addition to other on camera duties.
Since 2004, I have worked as an actor based in Texas and voicing over commercials for television and radio, including projects for KHOU-TV. Another client, Digital 2000, has employed me to provide voice-over for numerous safety videos.
My Training
I studied acting initially at St. Lawrence University with experienced theatre professors such as Patricia Riggin. The bulk of my experience since then has come on the job, learning from award-winning veterans in the industry.

Additional Skills
I consider copywriting a second profession. Not only do I develop concepts and write scripts for clients, I am also a sharp editor and can make changes that enhance a script without compromising its integrity or message.
