My voice is very real and natural. Guys like to have a beer with my voice. Women feel comfortable letting my voice order for them. People are drawn to my voice because of its underlying wit, sense of trust and occasional flash of sarcasm. I can be your accessible down home and folksy storyteller. Your cool, jazzy, laid-back announcer. Or, the hip (even edgy) buddy next to you in a foxhole. I’m great with dialogue.

Additional Skills

I'm a former company member of the prestigious Berkeley Repertory Theatre and trained at the American Conservatory Theater. Like most Bay Area actors of that era I landed small parts on the Streets of San Francisco and in movies (Heroes, Foul Play) filming on location. I also performed in theatrical productions in San Francisco and summer stock at PCPA/Solvang.

I was an advertising creative director and copywriter in Los Angeles for many years. I was fortunate to write and create hundreds of TV and radio commercials for major national clients. This experience gives me a unique perspective on interpreting ad copy. As a broadcast creative director I've directed countless sessions with Hector Elizondo, Billy Vera, Bill Ratner and many other top voice talents. I've learned from the best.

During my advertising years I spent many hours in the booth as well, performing as the agency voice for scratch VO's, new business pitches and client P.R. And, voiced jobs on Jack in the Box, Mervyn's, and Thrifty.
