I can moderate my voice for essentially any type of requirement; starting with a higher nasal pitch to emulate a child or female voice down to a deeper baritone. I also possess a very good command of the English language and do consider myself to be very smooth and articulate when doing an oral presentation , reciting verse, or reading a narrative to a large group of people.

My Voice Experience

Although I do not have any technical training in the "voice-over" field, I do have to address large groups of people on a daily basis because of my profession as a chemical dependency counselor. It is vital that I keep the clients interested, involved, and active within the group dynamic in order to convey the topic to them. I generally have to speak for three hours per day, four days per week; and it has been mentioned by both clients and colleagues that I do have a penchant for keeping people interested with my voice for long periods of time.

My Training

I do have previous experience in the journalism field, as a writer and reporter on the college newspaper at Cleveland State University. I do possess an Associates's degree in Social Services and am currently attending classes in order to obtain a Bachelor's degree.

Additional Skills

I can only simply state in the sincerest desire of not sounding too brash, that I have never been more confident in my entire life in my ability to not only succeed, but excel in this field given the opportunity. I have been told for years by family, friends, and co-workers that my voice belongs on the radio or television; and coupled with my verbal command of it, as well as a writer's imagination, not to mention a solid work ethic, I cannot possibly presuppose for one instance that I will not evuntally make this a succesful career. Again, the only obvious question remains; who will be the first to not only give me a chance, but to benefit from my abilities as well?
