Voice Description
My focus is to work as a voiceover and announcer voiceover artist.
I have a warm, fun-loving, guy-next-door, non-distinctive, type of voice which is welcoming, calming and compelling all at the same time. People pay attention when I talk.
Go figure.
I'm comfortable with business, corporate and industry-specific copy (i.e., pharmaceutical, engineering), as well as podcasting, on hold messages and radio, among others.
I've also been told I have a great "phone" voice for voicemail greetings (go figure) as well as being quite the storyteller because of the enthusiasm, passion and raw emotion I bring. It also shows up when I laugh.
I am also of Puerto Rican descent, so I can speak Spanish, although I wouldn't call it my primary language, unlike English.

My Voice Experience
I've worked as an on-stage and movie actor, as well as a singer.
Film: CLOSURE ("The Voice"), NATALE IN NEW YORK ("Cab Driver").
Singer: 07.20.07 -- Sang National Anthem at Madison Square Garden before the New York Liberty v. Houston Comets game.
My Training
Steve Garrin's 6-week Voice-over "Boot Camp" plus private instruction with Mr. Garrin (VideoAction Productions - 165 West 46th Street, Suite 610, NYC 10036).
Susan Baum - Vocal & Diction Instruction (630 Ninth Avenue, Suite 1401, NYC 10019)
My Studio Equipment
Rode USB Podcaster; PowerBook G4 running GarageBand.
Additional Skills
Bottom Line: I take direction well, possess a wonderful outlook on life which allows me to see the "larger picture" in a situation and have only one objective when I'm on a job - to make the client "look good" on stage (or in this case, radio, TV, movies, the phone, whathaveyou).
But my most captive audiences exist (and also where I can get my practice in public speaking) is when I make my ADA announcements as a charter and commuter bus driver. I've honed my "Welcome Aboard" scripts for years so much so, I've been told to record them. Ok.
