My voice is a deep, well-spoken, 'traditional' Home Counties English accent which is extremely adaptable for its respective need.

I feel it is at its best when I am speaking in a calm and relaxing manner, suitable for documentaries, presentations, certain types of commercials and movie trailers as well as training audio and videos.
This can easily be adapted into the kind of expressive, upbeat speech needed for computer games, game shows or trailers for more 'fun' movies, as well as the direct, professional manner needed for commercials, presentations, training packages, answerphone messages and many others of a more serious nature.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I feel most at home with my own voice which, before and after acting coaching, I have always been told both socially and in my various professions is a fantastic voice, suited for the abovementioned. I am also more than capable at a southern English, Estuary (or 'Cockney') accent and have very basic skills at certain American and Australian dialects.

My Voice Experience

Minimal. My experience both as an actor in previous years and as the frontman of various bands have taught me skills in relation to my voice, which has always been considered by others as a strong point of mine. I have recorded voiceovers for the Focolare religious organisation, as a talking cartoon globe, as well as for friends' University projects, for which I simply read a pre-written script in my natural voice.
I have also performed voiceovers live for performances of the, now defunct, 'Lucia Knights School of Drama', based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

My Studio Equipment

Apple MacBook with Logic Pro recording software, coupled with Line6 TonePort audio interface. A wide variety of effects can be added to the voice with software and hardware including reverb, pitch alteration, echo delay and modulation. This equipment also has the capability to upload a previously recorded mp3 into the Logic program and record the voiceover directly onto it.

Additional Skills

I am a professionally trained musician, currently studying the 2nd year of a degree course at Thames Valley University (TVU) in Ealing. My course is performance-related and deals predominantly with Drums, however I also have skills as an accomplished singer, songwriter, composer and guitarist, which I have been practicing as a hobby and writing for bands for 8 years.
To support my songwriting and composition I also have basic skills in home production, honed both through my University course and through my own dynamic.

On top of this I am a keen writer. With my English training, lyric writing for songs and my personal side project of fictional writing this is a big skill of mine that I intend to keep up to speed through any means possible.
