Voice Description

My voice is very deep, and professional by nature, but I can add a warm and friendly tone to it depending on the mood of the piece I am working on. My singing background gives me a good range, and while my voice is usually considered assertive, my acting has been received well in presentations for small children.

Many have said that my voice would be best fit for commercial voice-overs, voice services such as dramatic readings or instructional demos, or even to play certain characters in a presentation.

My Voice Experience

I have experience performing in front of large groups of people as well as in small presentations. I have done recordings with a church choir, as well as a quartet group, and worked with professional actors in spiritually uplifting performances.

Frequently I have been requested to be "the Voice of God" for many presentations, including a Bible reading overseas in Ghana, where my performance was met with great applause. I was told that when my voice was first heard, people were startled and awed in their places. It was truly a blessing that day for me to work with them.

In the past, I also performed in a series of presentations to commemorate Black History Month where I was selected to play Martin Luther King Jr. himself. My performance was met with great praise and I was requested to perform it again at several other locations, including as part of a program for the Weather Channel. Even while juggling three other jobs, I was able to perform at the same, if not a greater caliber, than my initial performance.

My voice talent is truly a gift from God, and I have used it to touch as many lives as I can. I feel I have been very blessed, and I wish to continue doing the Lord's work.

My Training

I have no formal education in doing voice-overs, merely a background of several years of choir practice, and performing in front of people. Many of my acquaintances have told me that what I display in my presentations is "raw, natural talent."

Additional Skills

I have been able to memorize lines on short notice, and am usually relied on to perform imprompt and improvisational pieces. Although these have not been my preferred ways to work, I have performed well despite any time contraints, even when it's been for boisterous crowds.

I have an educational background in business management, and I also work a side job as a college professor. By the nature of my work, I am used to working with people, and I am used to giving dynamic yet authoritative instruction.
