My Voice Experience
At age two, in 1952, I was entertaining Gramma with whistling and impressions of Donald Duck. I have honed them both to a keen edge subsequently....
Hosted my own morning drive show in the Chattanooga, Tennessee market for three years, where I produced news, weather, sports and advertizing and did a wild 'swap shop' call-in show.
My Training
Wrote and directed my own radio theater/improv stuff with a B/O reel-to-reel tape recorder I got for Christmas, 1962... it took off from there, and I ended up doing impressions in high school of the teachers and their 'substitutes' (KARLOFF in Biology: "I thought I told you to put away that brain!").
