My Voice Experience

Let's just be honest here. I do voices all of the time. Sometimes when I'm teaching a class at the university, one of them pops out. It's okay, because I warn my students that sometimes I do voices and it may or may not have to do with latent mental illness. But we're all on the spectrum of mental illness anyway, so what does it matter? I don't have any experience doing voice overs. I'm very curious about the process. I don't know why I never really got into the field. I've done voices since I was in first grade. I had a lot of puppets growing up and I would put on puppet shows, just for fun. I have a small recording studio where I live right now and I do little recordings here and there in the vein of Ken Nordine, the Taster's Choice coffee voice man. What a set of pipes that guy has!

So yes, I'm an amateur, which means I work for cheap, cheap, cheap. Try me out. If you like what you hear, toss me a line.

I'm currently working on a PhD in Special Education. I have an MFA in fiction, and an MA in Special Education, and a BA in English. I sang in a few rock bands that never made it out of my home town of Missoula, MT.
