My regular speaking voice is that of a young urban professional. In natural conversation i tend to speak with a slight midwestern drawl but based on experience I find it very easy to stiffen up my grammar and sound devoid of any regional accent.

I have a very manly voice that is very flexible with regards to the emtions it can display, everything from sexy to reassuring. Smooth and warm or expressive and informative. I speak with very clear diction and inflect my voice in the proper places.

My Voice Experience

I am a recording artist who applies voice over work to my own material. From straight up rapid fire hip hop lyrics to folksy sing songing I cover several bases when it comes to the use of my voice. On my albums there are times where I create characters that require me to adapt my voice to become a whole different person.

I have experience with radio also and understand fully conveying emotion with the use of voice. I also know about reading copy for speeches and writing speeches. I have written speeches and worked with public speakers to prepare them for their work

My Training

My basic training has been thru my history as a recording artist. You have to know how to speak with clarity and confidence in order to be heard and taken seriously.

Prior to that I did public speaking and readings in college. I also have conducted interviews for radio stations and magazines.

I know about reading copy for speeches and writing speeches.

Additional Skills

I have my own audio recording set up housed in my apartment. I fully understand things such as file type, bitrate and audio engineering. The recording set up that I have delivers clean crip vocal recordings.

I am no stranger to using the internet as a means to transfer files. Aim, email, ftp and website protocol all make sense to me.
