My Voice Experience

As a young lad in Switzerland, Bill demonstrated an early propensity for innocent, colorful words. Often, these poured forth in cascading streams. At times, the off switch was hard to find.
1971: One day, his father-- at wits’ end-- promised Bill a 5-speed bicycle if Bill would shut up for 2 weeks.
A blissful peace settled gently over the countryside.
Bill’s vow of silence lasted 3 days, 11 hours and 32 minutes (his mother had timed the event). A second longer, and the boy would have exploded. Pleading on her son’s behalf, Bill’s father was soon placated. Victory was declared without firing a shot! The lad was awarded a shiny blue 5-speed Schwinn (rare in Switzerland), and a lifetime of “gab-for-profit” had begun-- with no gab at all.
There has been little silence since.
Stateside, Bill’s radio career began in 1983, with announcing and production
positions from the Midwest to the Northeast. A few of these stations were “flame throwers”. The early ones were wet matches.
His big break came in 1990, where until 1993, Bill served as Executive Producer for the American Comedy Network, heard on over 300 stations nationwide.
In 1994, he launched Urbanwild Productions, a radio copywriting and production house with award-winning credits, and clients in 18 states.
He’s served companies as large as Microsoft...to companies as large as Jerry’s Tow and Repair (there are no “small” clients).
