Voice Description

I have a range of voices, from funny character voices in different accents, to serious narration voices in my natural speaking voice. For commercials I can perform serious and comedic, although my natural talent leans me more towards comedy. I can speak in a deeper, soothing voice for more professional or industrial pieces, or more upbeat and energetic for lighter, more encouraging spots. The character voices I have range widely from realistic to ridiculous, and can tap in many different accents.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Accents: Southern U.S. (Texan, Georgian, etc.), Northeastern U.S. (Boston, New York, Hamptons, etc.), Southern English (common British), Cockney, Australian, Indian, outrageous French, Japanese, Chinese.

Characters: Crazy old men, angsty teens, egotistical machos, evil villains, and honestly, you tell me what you want and I'll see if I can't bust it out for you.

My Voice Experience

I have performed in a few student films and short films, as well as several years of competing in intercollegiate forensics (public speaking) where I won many awards for my performances.

My Training

I have taken over a half-dozen voice over classes at Del Mar Media Arts, a small studio based in Irvine. These classes ranged from simple voice over technique to character development, including accents and dialects. I have also completed several years of public speaking and voice technique classes at Palomar College, including classes in drama and interpersonal communication.
