Voice Description
My voice has been called warm, friendly, authoritative, enthusiastic, and - most importantly - believable.
My natural delivery is a neutral American accent which is very hard to place geographically. Its a friendlier, more natural style of speaking which still carries authority, but which also has a knack of making even the most complex and technical script shine through with absolute clarity. I can also revert to my Texas and Southern roots if needed.
Witty, vivacious and warm, my voice is perfect for television commercials, telephone applications, and narrating childrens programming. The graceful and subtle persuasion of my voice will gently and happily woo customers into purchasing your product.
Singing style: From Nasaly Bob Dylan to Low Dark Country Johnny Cash.

My Voice Experience
Honestly folks, I am new at this. However I am a true sponge of international accents & dialects.
I've started imitating people's voice's and manerisms at a very young age (and funny enough my 4 year old does exactly the same. Lol)
Growing up in the Netherlands my biggest influence were two-fold. First off I became obsessed with the van Kooten & de Bie sketch show. These two are my original heroes of comedy. http://www.kootenbie.nl/
At the tender age of 10, my best friend and I were performing their sketches at birthday parties and school plays. Eventually leading to a 1-hour-a-week spot on our local radio station.
Second my parents played a lot of traditional country records. Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and George Jones have dramatically influenced my American style.
Later in life I moved from Holland to the USA where I spent a couple years in Texas and in Georgia. During this time, no one has ever known that I was born outside of the US for I had adopted a perfect American phrasing style right from the get go. I've played and sung in Honky Tonk and Rockabilly bands around Atlanta. My main American comedy influence is Larry David and the Seinfeld cast.
I let the USA for South America, spending a few years on a little island of the coast of Venezuela. Being the accent absorber that I am, I quickly started speaking as my Venezuelan brothers, adopting the local slang into my vocabulary.
The past few years I've been living in the UK. I've spend considerable time in England's 3 major cities, London, Birmingham and Manchester. British humour has had a big influence on my style, especially the shows Little Britain and Peep Show.
My Training
I haven't had any specific training or education with regards to doing voice overs however I've always had great marks for my presentations when I was in University. I was always able to captivate and inspire the audience.
My Studio Equipment
I am willing to learn whatever I need to succeed in this business.

I am currently working as a Dutch-English, English-Dutch translator for an American company.
I have over 10 years of international experience in the Hospitality Industry.
I am an expert on American music.
