My Voice Experience

31 years experience in both commercial and public radio (I got into it early!) in the Denver Metro market (KHOW, KOA, KNUS, KVOD, KUNC) and beyond (Utah and Alaska) in both commercial and Public Radio in varied music and talk radio formats. My voice-work experience includes not only a wide variety of commercials-- 'friend next door,' medical reads, car dealership reads, happy soccer mom, to character ads and warm, 'between us' understated reads. Experience with training videos, other industrials including narration for historical documentary and narration for Larimer Chorale performance on the history of America through her music.

My Training

Radio on both sides of the console in music and talk formats in both commercial and public radio. Writer, copywriter, producer and talent for commercials,news stories and features; music host and programmer, production engineer, digital editing* (Adobe), as well as experience in other facets of radio (promotions and sales).

*(But I bet that I am still pretty darned good with a razor blade if need be)

Additional Skills

I have a huge thirst for knowledge and have explored many diverse delightful challenges on the side of my career in broadcasting. I have been a steam locomotive fireman and student engineer for 5 years, in season, at the Georgetown Loop Railroad in Colorado, earned my Private pilot's license, my scuba diving certificate, and have mushed dogs in Alaska at 40 below -- it was fun- really! My great love of art (I am a plein-air oil painter, calligrapher and jeweler ), and music (mandolin, guitar and hopefully piano again), and love of mechanics and science (I love to fix things), to metaphysics, to a love of animals (especially dogs, then especially Border Collies), to natural healing, history, reading and writing, just to name a few interests (as well as an obvious love of run-on sentences), has enabled me to offer believable reads in many subjects-- because I *do* have the interest in them!
