Voice Description

I can take my voice from a low resonating tone to a soothing and soft spoken individual. My voice can become many of the Sesame Street characters, or I can become the voice of a banker.

I can give you a squeeky voice, monotonic, bombastic, soft spoken, to a sort of sexy guy range. I can make it Barry White to set the mood of the night, or Bugs Bunny the trickster. My voice can become a preacher giving the best sermon of his life, or a drunk laying in the gutter waiting for demons to carry him away. I am the good guy voice or the bad guy voice.

I can offer a narrative warm and soothing sound to do commercials,trailers for comedy,and/or drama. My voice is extremely versatile with different ranges,sounds, and pitches. However, my normal tone is deep and loud.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can emulate about 30 characters,I do not speak the French,German,Russian,or Hebrew language ,but I can give the English broken language, or accent version.
My father was Jewish which allowed me to pick up some of his expressions and dialect. I have actually preached sermons in Pentacostal Churches, which has given me the skill to resonate my voice and demand an audience to listen to me. I have worked in sales which has allowed me to speak to many people with confidence and assurity to sell my products. I have traveled and worked throughout the US and Canada which has allowed me to hear and copy others linguistic approaches and styles.
I have practiced many cartoon voices such as Bugs Bunny, Peppy Le Pew, Yosemite Sam, Captain Hook, Yogi Bear, Sponge Bob, Patrick, Squiggler, Homer Simpson, Mr. Burns, Moe, Abu,and many of the Jerry Seinfeld characters. I can impersonate Elvis Presley.

My Voice Experience

I have worked in many professional capacities in my lifetime. I started out in the Navy and went to Hollywood where I worked on projects like the Love Boat, Matt Houston,and Dynasty as a ghost writer. I started my voice over career in 1981 when I did the theatrical play, "P.S. Your Cat is Dead". I was the voice over and the narrater, in this version. I then joined the City Players, a theatrical group in St. Louis, MO.
I found a niche in sales and became practiced at convincing others to purchase my product. I was able to speak to many people throughout the US and Canada, and in turn I learned various ways to use my voice to communicate with others. I met my fiance through telephone conversation, where she says she first fell in love with my voice. I have used my voice in many different arenas throughout my life ranging from preacher,and evangelical teacher, to motivational speaker for a company in Atlanta Ga. and the training of new hires through role playing techniques.

My Training

I have a degree as a Doctor of Divinity from Worldship Ministries out of San Diego,Ca. In 2008, I was chosen, by Andrew Rios to play the lead role in Edgar Masters "Spoonriver Anthology." Recently,I have achieved a degree in Broadcasting from American Broadcast School in OKlahoma,OK.

My Studio Equipment

I do all my voice overs on Adobe Audition 3.0 from my home. I have a personal goal to have a voice over studio by 2011. I have over 1035 hrs of stream broadcasting online. I will send resume upon request.

Additional Skills

I have never taken on any task that I never completed. From writing copy in the 80's from The Water Bed Store to
a documenatary from "Desegragation to Incaceration". I have always been able to listen to a person ,co-worker,entertainer and in 5 minutes I was able to emulate that voice.I looking for the right opportunity to take this Jewish born, St. Louisian to another level with my voice.
