My Voice Experience

I have been in radio since 1975, and have do radio production for more than thirty years. I also done liner work for several radio stations, as well as underwriting announcements for the largest Public Radio station in our area.

My Training

The high school I went to offered radio broadcasting as a vocational course, and I was in the original class in the early 1970's. During my senior year of high school I was hired by a 50,000 fm station for nights. I sent more than 8 years working for the company on both their station, including 3 years as Program Director and Morning host. I left company to return to my high school to be Station Manager/Broadcast Instructor of the program.
I then traveled to New England to to program an AM station that dated back to the early 1920's.
In 1989 I returned to my home area in the Mid-Atlantic and worked for several stations of varying formats up til the present. I now do newscasts, fill and voice work for an area group, as well as a weekly 1 hour interview show for a new public station in the area.

My Studio Equipment

I do not have a home studio, but I have access to to broadcast facilities that have the normal production equipment.

Additional Skills

In addition to my voice experience, I also have a computer services company that specializes in broadcast facilities. i maintain the computers and server for an area Public Broadcaster, as well as handle engineering duties for an LP-FM station in the area. I have installed several on air computer systems over the past several years.
