My Voice Experience

I grew up imitating any voice I heard. As my mom drove me to school I read ALL the roadsigns outloud. Drove her crazy.

It was good practice--I kept it up--imitating any commercial voice I heard...the voice at the airport--the voice on-hold, the voice of NBC, etc. In my car as a teenager I had commercials in my tape player, so all I did was listen to the commercials rather than music.

I am a voiceover nerd.

You've heard a voice on a commercial and you want THAT voice. We replicate the nationial voiceovers, whether it's the voice of Visa, or that voice on the movie trailer, or the soft sounding older sell, we do it all. Every voice we do, is a voice that people remember. It's a voice they've heard--they just didn't know they KNEW it. Ear candy!

My Training

I started in radio in New Mexico and had my own show at the age of 16 in 1985.

In 1987 I went to L.A. and studied w/ some of the best voiceovers in the industry: Corey Burton (Disney's Moliere, Gummi Bears, Rescue Rangers, James Bond Jr.), Daws Butler (Elroy Jetson, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss), Lorenzo Music (Garfield, Gummi Bears.

I also studied film acting with Karen Grassle (Little House on the Prairie) and and film/commercial directing with Harry Hamburg (Gallo Wine, Alka-Seltzer, commercial director).

I have worked as a voiceover from 1987 with many clients including Visa, Coca-Cola, Southwest Airlines, Disney, Fleming Foods, Garfield Restaurants, and many more.
