My Voice Experience

With nearly 30 years experience as a voice talent, I've learned to own the copy! I 'm a director's dream. They get the read they want every time. Hire me for; narration, radio commercials, voice-overs, e-learning, live announcing, voice-mail greetings, corporate/training videos.

My Training

A bachelor's degree in Theatre was a good way to begin. From there a Master's in Radio-TV-Film taught me how to translate the stage work into recorded performance. With a background in video production I came to know what directors need from their voice talent.
I reported and anchored the news, both radio and tv.
I wrote and produced commercials for the local ABC affiliate and became the station voice. Daily voice work drove home the essence of seconds! I listened carefully to seasoned voice talent, directors, even technicians. I was never afraid to ask how I could be better, and always knew to learn from the criticisim early on. I've taken my share of voice workshops, but in the end it's training by doing!!

Directors love that I come in prepared. I do my research with medical or other unfamiliar terms. Because I have the experience wwriting, I can always help them with copy or script issues. Having worked the other side of the profession helps me help my clients.
