My Voice Experience
I am truly just breaking into the voiceover business after years of entertaining (and pulling practical jokes) on family and friends. It is at their urging and my desire to begin to pursue voiceover work on a professional as a career. Ten years ago I was a character actor registered in all the unions; SAG, AFTRA, and Actors Equity but left to settle with my wife. Now that we are settled, it is time to return to show business!
My Training
I currently hold an Associates Degree and have been pursuing a Bachelors Degree part-time. I have portrayed diverse characters of different races on stage due to my physical apperance so the voice "acting" part is a natural fit for me. I have done volunteer work recording voiceovers for audio books.
My Studio Equipment
I have my own microphone in which I can create a "rough" but professional track. I have a very, very basic knowledge of editing.
Additional Skills
I currently work in a professional environment for a major brokerage firm as a risk manager. I have also worked "blue collar" jobs so I can relate on either level.
