Voice Description

I have a classic American male voice, well spoken, educated, and professional with a nice resonance, but with an ability to do much, much more. Documentaries, audio books, presentations, and commercials are no problem for this voice. In addition, my voice is flexible enough that I can provide a dynamic edge to the voice in a number of directions, ranging from SUNDAY MOTOCROSS CHALLENGE-type advertising to traditional radio announcer voice, to softer more sympathetic voice. Characterizations are FUN!, and I'm willing to try anything with my voice to get you where you need to be.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can do a British accent, Black American characterizations (including an old man who used to work on a shrimp boat in Louisiana!), Droopy Dog voice (look it up if you don't know the voice...it's challenging but fun), male Indian voice (as in India), and others that I'm still cataloging. I have a very versatile voice and love to try to stretch out what I can do.

Additional Skills

I've always been an observer of people. I notice the little things, the nuances. I like to understand what it is about a person that makes them act the way they do. Now I've experienced enough of life to be able to bring those observations to my performances. I'm a quick study with enough ability to adapt to new demands on the fly and with the good humor and mature perspective that can be necessary when working in a fluid, creative environment.
