My Voice Experience

Seven years of local and national radio experience; including news, weather, inspirational music host, interviewer, station IDs, station imagers, network promos, intros/outros for national radio parenting program, hosting fundraising segments. I've also done voiceovers for The University of Arizona Dept. of Human Resources, School of Nursing and medical videos for Biomedical Communications.

My Training

I began my training and experience with voiceover work at the University of Arizona while studying for my degree. My curriculum included Voice and Movement for the Actor, Speaking for Radio and Television and Spoken Literature. This prepared me for seven years of local and national radio. I currently have a private voice coach.

Additional Skills

I have been involved in hospice work for the past 3 1/2 years. This has increased my personal level of compassion, realness and appreciation for life. I also have a love for lifelong learning and education in many areas including travel, interior design and architecture.

People tell me that my voice has a soothing effect on them. They also tell me I sound content and have a sense of humor that makes it easy to talk to me. These characteristics have helped me work with people in distress from brides to stage parents to caregivers.

I am open to a huge diversity of voiceover opportunities. A few that come to mind include on hold messages, voice mail greetings, professional training videos, educational and medical videos and documentaries.
