My Voice Experience

In 1997, I became a radio talent for WDGN radio. Though it's a run from a local high-school, it got me over the fear of speaking into a microphone and I learned the value of improvisation and thinking on my feet. The teacher/administrator of the radio program was a professional radio talent. The comments he offereed were extremely encouraging and included excellent delivery timing and the quality of my voice.

Years passed where I didn't think about radio or voice for a while, and in 2001 I was invited to complete a voice over for Webley Systems, Inc. It was at that time I began thinking about a career in voice-overs, but unfortunately, not very seriously.

More years passed, and in 2006 I was asked to complete voice over work for HSBC Banking Corporation's North American Consumer Lending department. Again, I began to think about voice overs.

Though this may seem like limited experience, I am confident it will grow.

My Training

Radio I class in Downers Grove North High School in Downers Grove, IL.  Taught by Roger Badesch.
Singing lessons during High School; Illinois Music Education Association (IMEA) participant for vocal talent. Consistently granted first place prizes for another musical talent - playing the flute.

In addition to this, I have trained as a psychologist, I am a certified Business Analyst and have taken courses for business. This is relevant due to the fact that I know about and can easily converse using anything from detached perspectives and "corporate buzzwords" to an empathetic, caring, friendly person who will get to the root of a problem.

Timing, inflection, acting, singing and being relatable are some of my strongest vocal points.

I am charismatic, well-versed in music, literature, television, movies, education and computers. In addition, I have knowledge of working in different arenas, from grocery stores and gas stations to collections, foreclosures and office work.
