Voice Description

My voice is one of my great assets, and is malleable to specific needs and situations. It can be deep, smooth and alluring for a commercial spot or dramatic and adventurous for narration. It also ranges from the professionalism of a boardroom presentation to "home grown touch" of a banjo-pickin' good-ole-boy. And let's not omit the international flavor, whether it's the joie de vivre of a Parisian or the harshness of a Cossack!

My Voice Experience

My talent for speaking, either in public or seated in front of a microphone, goes back to the formative high school years, where my participation in the Speaker's Guild took me statewide on numerous public speaking competitions. Sample prize-winning presentations ranged from the courtroom scene from "To Kill A Mockingbird" to the Farewell Address to West Point of Gen. Douglas MacArthur. Since that time, my career in sales has kept me in front of groups, large and small, delivering either prepared presentations or extemporaneous remarks. Further, I have made several radio spots, both in Phila and Pittsburgh, for products ranging from swimming pools to auto parts. And today, I am a key reader in my church.......just to keep the pipes in action!

My Training

As mentioned earlier, my public speaking experience has directed me towards voice overs. In college, I also served as "anchor" for a student-produced news program. Communications was my minor at Villanova Univ.
