My Voice Experience
Simply put: I am a voice character actress!
My journey as a voice character actress began growing up in Chicago, but it wasn't until my family moved to Oklahoma and a cute boy asked me, 'Why do you talk through your nose?' that I became aware of regional accents. I changed my voice to a southern Okie drawl in short order, but kept my Chicago nasal accent for summer visits to Illinois.
As I've journeyed through life and encountered various people from around the world, I've added a broad cross-section of regions, cultures, ages, etc. to my vocal repertoire.
My recent professional experience has been recording dialogue for educational (speech) researchers. During college I was a studio musician.
My Training
I have a Master's Degree in Speech Communication and a minor in Vocal Performance.
My Studio Equipment
I have no studio equipment.
Additional Skills
I am professional yet flexible and easy-going.
