Typical East-coast American female voice. As this is my first endeavor into the world of voice recording, I have no idea what my capabilities or limitations are. In real life speaking I tend to 'take over' the accents I hear. In Dutch my accent is considered general. In neither English nor Dutch can a foreign accent be heard.

As this is my first endeavor into the world of voice recording, I have no idea what my capabilities or limitations are. In real life speaking I tend to 'take over' the accents I hear.

My Voice Experience

I am new to this but what I lack in experience I will certainly make up for in effort and determination. The only voice recording I have ever done was for an answering machine.

2008 - current:University of Leiden, B.A. in English Language and Literature
with a minor in translations Dutch-English and vice versa.
2006 Web design
Various courses in Microsoft and other business applications. Also ISO certifications.
1989 – 1990 University of Tilburg – General Language and Literature
1980 – 1989 S.G. Spieringshoek Schiedam, Diploma VWO Atheneum in the subjects: Dutch, English, French, German, Economics 1 & 2 and History.

Elementary School in Alexandria Va

I have lived in Rome-Italy, Alexandria Va-USA, Schiedam-Netherlands, Muscat-Oman, Puerto Rico-USA. In Muscat I was part of the editorial staff on a glossy magazine for expats. In Puerto Rico I mainly took care of communications within the PTO of an International School.

I have a Mac and quick grasp of new programs and machines.

Additional Skills

I am an expat and have been from the day I was born.
This means that I have been immersed in various cultures from the get-go. I can easily adapt to any culture or environment in a relatively short time.
I don't do negative, so for every bad situation there is always a positive to be found.
I grew up with the American tv and film industry, love it!
