My Voice Experience

I once played the part in an independent film, as the sister of a young man who ran away from home and as he called me on the phone to say he was alright, I had to cry while trying to convince him to come back home. I have also recorded gospel music with my old singing group in NYC as well as done live radio in Columbia, SC 2009.

My Training

I was taught to sing by my oldest sister when I was four years old. I sang with numerous church choirs as a youth and adult over the last 40 years. In between church and studio recording sessions with my own family group and various community choirs, I also traveled with a professional gospel group in Germany, called the Glorious Gospel Singers, and did acting as a part of the singing tour. This tour happened in 2003 and lasted foe 2 months.

Additional Skills

I can sing most of the voice ranges, I can train basically anyone to sing. I have written songs,taught them to youth and adult choirs in various churches. I have written and performed one act plays and directed them as well. I have been privileged to win singing and acting contests at local community events. I also play the piano and keyboard which helps me to compose my origional songs.
