Voice Description

Articulate, Van is Blessed with a large range of voices from a young boy to an older man and he is a Christian Voice Over artist. He is able to sound professional for narrations and/or like Wolfman Jack or Clint Eastwood for commercials. Voice over work is his fortay as well as character voices. He does animation voices for TV or cartoon characters, i.e. Marvin the martian from Bugs Bunny. He also has a 'twang' for country or comical for keeping the listener in touch.

My Voice Experience

Experienced with over 23 years in radio/TV broadcasting, starting in Jax. FL to Washington, DC and now in Dallas, TX. Van Page got a big boost after he "scooped" an interview with Wolfman Jack and the two bonded when Wolfman had an appearence in Jacksonville, Florida in the early 90's. Van had always loved doing voice characters and Wolfman admitted that 'you remind me of me'! He has since perfected his impersonation of the icon and has a blast!

In addition, he has voiced the historical Centinnial of the U.S. Census Bureau's celebration in Maryland. He has worked with various production and voice over talent agencies and on location. He has been sought after to read for various directed narrations for childrens books and books on tape.

My Training

Van's training is life experiences, studied production/voice work in College under Jack Tamul, Alan Parsons Project Producer, and speech in Jax, FL, 1982. He started in radio in 1981 on an AM station in Jacksonville, FL and from there spent the next 20 years till he moved to Fairfax, VA and worked in Rockville, MD at Classic Rock, 94.7 FM for a couple of years and on to Dallas, TX for a full blown digitial producton studio to do what he loves, recorded voice work!

Additional Skills
