My experience for voice over acting is varied: Most recently I have served as the voice talent for the Voice America Network on several of their shows, such as, "The Michael Losier Show." I have been the voice talent and image voice for ABC Radio Network's Urban format and several radio stations. I have narrated national and regional vignettes and documentaries for the NABJ and Dudley Products. I was the exclusive radio voice talent for one of the top ten Nissan dealerships (Victory Nissan/Chesapeake Va) in the nation for 5 years.
I began honing my voice acting skills 15 years ago with acting and speech lessons. I learned a great deal as a performing singer, and took years of piano. I've studied the voice acting skills of Eric Worden, Stephanie Thomas, James Alburger and Penny Abshire. I've also worked full time in the radio industry for 16 years and have media production skill and knowlege with Pro-Tools, Adobe, Cool Edit, Vox Pro, Scott Systems and Selector. My radio work has included, News Director, Morning Show Personality, and the host of a weekly public service show...on a variety of radio formats. I have BA in English and Grammar.
I am open to the smallest and largest voice acting projects that will strengthen my craft. I am able to give a client the convincing voice acting options of a caring mother, sarcasm of a generation Xer, a professional and compelling narrative of documentaries or podcasts, a gentile southern accent, and rough around the edges northern accent. I constantly practice my accents and reads and am prepared to deliver your voiceover job the way you want it.
