I never thought about my voice. I talked, I laughed, I carried conversations and never once thought about what it sounded like. One day, while working in advertising, I met a producer who said, “you remind me of a cartoon character," and asked if I was a voice talent. I told him I worked upstairs in client service, but my curiosity had already peaked. From that day on - I have put everything into developing and growing my voice over career.
At home I use a Blue Yeti with Audacity - but I also have access to a studio at my old classroom at Commercial Actor Studio.
Since I've worked in advertising, I know the workflow and processes that must be completed while producing a spot. I know what to expect, and what the expectations are for myself.
