My Voice Experience

When at my day job, people often pause, when I first answer the phone because they're waiting for the "beep" after I've given my greeting. I've been told I sound like someone with whom people want to talk and listen. I have a contagious laugh, and I've been told my voice makes people want to continue the conversation. I have done name readings for graduations, messages for alerts, and I've recorded outgoing messages (personal and business).

My Training

I earned a BA in Psychology and was told I'd be an excellent therapist, because of my combination soft/strong voice. The other training I received was through theater in high school and through performing in local productions.

Additional Skills

My desire to put my voice to good use stems from feedback I've received for the past 20+ years, regarding "how versatile and unique" my voice is. I have the ability to sound commanding and somewhat booming, as well as soft and comforting. My voice is adaptable and distinct.
