Voice Description

To be straight up and honest: I don't have a typical woman's voice. I don't even think I have a typical girl's voice. I guess I am more or less better known for voicing characters with more of a boyish aspect, whether it be a tomboyish girl, a young male, or some type of animal or fictional creature.

The best characters to voice, in my opinion, are the crazy, in-your-face, ready-for-action, kick-booty-and-take-names type. I love being loud and stretching my voice range to it's limits. They often pose a good challenge for me. Of course, I can always be flexible if there need be.

My Voice Experience

I've been doing unprofessional voice overs since I was about 16. I've been featured in a several different audio dramas (those of which have unfortunately been lost within the depths of the internet) and anime fandubs, my favorite being a Digimon Frontier fan dub I starred in a while ago, where I voiced Tomoki and his evolution, Blizzardmon.

I've also voiced a mother and a young girl in other productions, but to be honest, those were the kind of parts I dreaded because of my voice type. Why did I even bother to do them? Well, why not?

The most recent unofficial dub I've done was Yoruichi in the animanga Bleach.

My Training

I've taken a couple of acting classes when I was younger, but to be honest, that was a pretty long time ago. For that reason, I believe taking those classes is irrelevant to my voice acting learning experience. Most of my "training" was due to research, practice, fan dubbing, and the process of trial and error. After 6 or 7 years, you tend to pick up a few things.
