My Voice Experience

Solid and Credible. Ty's a 25 year radio vet that's also been doing voice-overs for a great number of those years. You may have heard him on spots for Comcast, Volvo, Cox, Coors, MGM, KFC, BMW or Krispy Kreme among others. He's also a live announcer, event host and an audio engineer that knows his way around the studio - winning a slew of coveted awards, including Five Silver Microphone Awards and a Best of Show EMA in 2004. Ty is currently a contracted Production & Creative Director for a highly respected broadcast group in Las Vegas. He's also a studio principal.

My Training

Voice-Over Instruction from Gary Bouljd and Alice Whitfield. Over 20 years broadcasting and audio production experience on all standard audio platforms - Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, SAWPro, etc.. (I still have my teac 3346 and it still tracks great!)

My Studio Equipment

Studio A boasts - Two Dual Core processors with tons of RAM running Pro Tools 7 LE and Adobe Audition.

We use Lacie and Western Digital external drives for storage and backup.

Our signal path consists of Focusrite preamps, DBX EQs and Vocal Strip, AKG, Shure & Sterling Condenser/Dynamic MICS with Vocal-Master Control Surface and active KRK and M-Audio monitors.

We utilize various free-standing & virtual instruments in addition to software and peripherals by top industry manufacturers including Yamaha, Korg, Roland, Propellerhead and EMU, all interfaced with MBox 2 technology. Ionic air filtration with Hybrid GP technology implemented throughout.

Additional Skills

Award-Winning Commercial Audio Producer and respected copywriter with literally thousands of spots and many industry awards to his credit. In addition to on-hold message loops & IVRs, narration and audio imaging - Ty is a personal voice talent coach and has extensive experience with talent placement & booking. He works well with studio engineers, advertising firms, marketing representatives and commercial broadcast outlets.
