Voice Description

I have a very versatile voice and a great range. I was a first tenor in my college choir so I can hit the high notes and can get quite low. I can impersonate accents and can impersonate almost any singer you can think of. I've kareoked to the likes of willie nelson, waylon jennings, elvis, and roy orbison. I can definitely do charachter voices such as a guy from the trailer park, to legendary announcer Tom Carnegie. I run my own DJ business and have ten years experience doing weddings, school dances, and other events where I've had to use audio production along with voice talent.

I feel that my talent could be best used in commercial voice overs, childrens entertainment, or documentaries. I can tell you that I live life the the fullest, have fun with everything I do, and was made to entertain.

My Voice Experience

I had a radio show in college where I would have special guests call in. The guests were all played by me and included the likes of the campus security guard, the college president's wife, a disgruntled african american, a gay fraternity boy, and a lesbian sirority girl. This was alot of fun but it also created some much needed controversy in a campus that was wound very tight.

My Training

I have a bachelors in communications from NKU where I took courses in advanced public speaking and commercial recording. As mentioned previously, I also run my own DJ company.

My Studio Equipment

The only studio equipment I have is a mac computer and garage band. Garage band is recording software used to record and create musical compositions. It can be used for voice and commercial recordings.

Additional Skills

As far as my career goes, I've spent the past 5 years as a teacher in special education. I wasn't very good at the paperwork end of things but the parents would constantly tell me how their kids talked more about my class than any other class that they attended. I seem to have an uncanny ability to get them to pay attention to me and they find me humorous as well as educational. I could definitely be that adult in a toy commercial who is just as intrigued with a new product as the child who is playing it. I could also be that strict Dad in a rock video who doesn't like the music that kids are listening to today.

While I do not have a studio in my home, I am friends with one of Eddie Van Halen's guitar techs and he has granted me access to anything I could possibly need regarding this industry.
