I have been doing voice over work since 2007. I have done a number of works for my own musical projects whether spoken word or in song. Other works include commercials, advertisements, announcements, stage productions, and radio overlays.
Commercials, announcements, and advertisements are things that were done for my church via video screen or voice with music in the background.
Stage productions all include numerous plays at my church and other organizations. I have either acted, produced, been music director, co-written, done voice overs, and/or created all background effects and music (original pieces) for theses productions. A great reference of these works is a woman by the name of Pauline Parrish whom I have done projects with for the past 10 years.
I have done radio overlays for a local gospel radio station in Trenton, NJ called 1300 WIMG.
I studied music business at Mercer County Community College. Most of what I know concerning studio work and production I learned from watching others, asking questions, and basically having a talent for it.
I have a home studio. Here is a list of some of my equipment:
Mac OS X Lion, Acer 7520
PreSonus Firestudio Project Interface
Cakewalk and Garage Band
(2) AKG 3000 B Condensor Mics
(1) M-Audio MIDI 88 keyboard
(1) Tama Rockstar Drumset
M-Audio Studiophile AV40 Studio Monitors
Behrenger Xenyx 1202 Mixer
PreSonus TubePre Mic Compressor
CAD 8 Kit Drum Mics
I am a perfectionist. Not overboard but I know when its right, done, and complete. I may not have the top A-List equipment but what I have works great. I treat everyones project as if it were my own. I don't mess around, I get the job done ON TIME! I'm capable of adding voice, music, background, and sound fx to any project. I am ready to work in another capacity of line of profession that keeps me evolving as a producer. People keep telling me I should be working for someone's radio station of doing voice overs somewhere for somebody so here I am. I'm ready to work!
