My Voice Experience
My earliest voice over experience was 1999-2005,as a reader of college course material for audio books produced by the Open University, UK. Since moving to Los Angeles I've been working for Learning Ally (formerly Reading for the Blind & Dyslexic). I record a wide range of text, both fiction (from Judy Blume to James Elroy) and non-fiction, where my work has included elementary school American History, 'Literature to Go'(college level literary study), and Jancis Robertson's 'How to Taste Wine'.
In the commercial field I have done internet promotional voice over work for the YMCA (encouraging women towards fitness activities), and customer information announcements for Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.

Additional Skills
I am a Registered Nurse in the UK, so have a good knowledge of medical and physiology terminology.
From 2004-2007 I was an Arts Faculty Curriculum manager at the Open University (the largest distance-learning/e-learning university in Europe), where I gained experience of e-learning and production of audio materials for students with special needs.
I have over 10 years' stage acting experience as a member of the Open Theatre Company, UK (1992-2005) playing a wide range of roles.
In Los Angeles I volunteered from 2007 to 2011 as a school party docent guide at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, which provided useful experience of engaging the interest of children aged K through 12th grade.
