My Voice Experience

I have been in radio since the age of 12. I have provided voices for various types of commercials including rural retailers, sports events, funeral parlours, early childhood centres, furniture retailers, livestock agents, adult stores, fast food outlets, electrical and whitegoods retailers and many more.

My Training

All voice over knowledge has been gained "on the job".
I have qualifications in management (Certificate 4), and occupational health and safety.I have been involved with a number of charitable organisations including Apex, Salvation Army, Careflight Rescue Helicopter, Westmead Children's Hospital (Sydney), Canteen (Australian Teenage Cancer Patients Society), the NSW Spastic Centre and have been President of the local chapter of Junior Chamber (JCI).I have undertaken a training course in television production at Charles Sturt University Bathurst.

My Studio Equipment

I can access studio equipment that includes Yamaha O2R Digital Mixing Console, and Adobe Audition recording program.I have had experience operating different mixing systems (analogue & digital) manufactured by Teac, Philips, AWA, Radio Manufacturing Engineers (RME), Yamahs, CEI, and Ogenic. On air studio systems that i have a wealth of experience with include TM Century Digi Cart, B.E. Audio Vault, and Sonifex HDX 2000. I use Electrovoice and Sennheiser microphones.

Additional Skills

I have won awards for music presentation on commercial radio in Australia. I have also worked as a journalist and have hosted breakfast radio for a number of years.From 1982 to 1995 i was the studio anchor for the national radio coverage of the Bathurst 1000 motor race. I have recorded radio commercials for stations up and down Australia's eastern seaboard, through the "Super Radio Network".Television commercials i have provided voice work for include Mountain Pine Furniture, Australian Junior Chamber, and other community service organizations.
