Voice Description

Hello, my name is Trevor Smiley. I am a thirty eight year old father of two sons and a stepdaughter. As a very involved father I have encouraged my children through story books by using various character voices. I have the ability and range to create dark, villainous creatures, damsels in distress and other such fun and exciting characters as needed. My broken Espanol, Jamaican and British seem to highlight any storyline.
I have made numerous group presentations in Master's level Social Work courses as well as in public speaking events.
I am able to create an intimate, deep, sexy voice. I am capable of doing animals, various cartoon characters.
I have done some singing in musicals and seasonal plays as well.
I am able to provide a high-energy sales or a soft and subtle promotional or documentary.

My Voice Experience

I have served as "The voice" of the Covert Bulldogs for more than ten years as a public address announcer.
I have recently worked as a public address announcer at Grand Rapids Creston H.S. and Ottawa Hills H.S. I have presented at retirement of jersey ceremonies as well as out-going coaching ceremonies.

My Training

I have trained at Ferris State University in theatrical plays including one man plays and musicals. I have performed in such theatrical plays as "Brigadoon", "Joseph and his amazing technicolor dreamcoat" and "The best little whorehouse in Texas".
I have performed as a Varsity male cheerleader and have spoken to incoming freshmen students and their parent groups as well.

I have recently received high praise from Creston High School and Ottawa Hills High school for public address work at girls and boys basketball games including end of career honors and jersey retirement ceremonies.
