Voice Description

My speaking voice is deep, rich, round and very smooth and has generated comments urging a future in voice overs or radio since mid-puberty. As a result of my eternal silliness and desire to make other laugh, my voice is remarkably flexible, and thus I command a plethora of character voices with a demo soon to come to back up my boast. These voices range from helium sounding falsetto to a otherworldly deep, gravely or full bass as well as everything in between. I have quick reading abilities and a background in art and acting that has aided my productivity and learning curve when producing reads and voices. I am still young within the industry with only narration projects under my professional belt and am looking to bring my talents, enthusiasm and ever-expanding professionalism to whatever project I am fortunate enough to be a part of. I can do charming or cokney english, mexican and "Cheech" spanish accents. Charming smooth southern as well as extreme, unintelligable southern. Actively working on my Irish, Scottish, French, Italian, New York, and Boston. Character voices that can easily be done are as follows: Surfer Dude, Connecticut snob, Euro and American Muscle heads, Smooth Shaft like-character, cartoonish Stitch (a la Lilo and Stitch), helium high pitch (little creatures), Opera Singer (male or female), Latin Lover, Ebonics, Smooth jazz dj, Demonic monster, cartoony crime boss, dumb cartoony crime henchman, quick talking black&white era detective/mobster, Stoner, professor, barney gumble-like drunken slob, God-like depth and projective voice, demon-like voice a la the inspector gadget villian, basically, I can do things with my voice organically that I hear being synthetically altered in many voice projects. My list is incomplete and also am inventing new vocal manipulations on a daily basis.

I possess a strong intellectual curiosity coupled with a sharp learning curve that has aided me in all my academic endeavors as well as my personal pursuits. I am a college graduate of George Mason University and have strong reading (and proofing) capabilities. I have training in acting and public speaking as well as script and commercial writing/production. I lettered in four sports in high school along with being a gym rat and my psychology give me a firm foundation in sports, fitness and anatomical/physiological terminology.
