My Voice Experience
This "voice" thing started for me in high school, around the time I was thirteen my voice changed and people began to say tome you should find a way to get paid with your voice. My first real confirmation of that was when I won the state of Virginia's gold medal for children's storytelling using my voice to create twelve different characters. During that time I also was used as the voice of Ed Sullivan in my schools production of "Bye Bye Birdie"
I then went on to college where I was used for my voice in various student films. During the summer of my sophomore year i interned at a radio station, where once they heard my voice my sole responsibility was to record psa's for the community calender and the station Id's. In my junior year of college i switched my major from communications to theater and my voice began to be used for voice over that were part of plays. Since then I have recorded projects for The UNCF special projects, National Institutes for the Blind, and have been an on air personality for 95.5 Wbsu's morning show along with other acting gigs
My Training
I have a BFA in theater with a concentration in acting from Howard University, which including classes in speech for the microphone, diction, voice for the microphone, and script analysis
