My Voice Experience

My experience in broadcasting spans back to my college days when I worked for ABC Sports and ESPN. After college, I continued my TV work at network owned stations and network affiliates doing a variety of on camera jobs. Each one gave me a different kind of voice over experience and coaching from a variety of talented people.

As a freelancer, I've done a lot of different kinds of voice over work. I've read educational videos, a video for the Special Olympics World Games, a video that's airing at every NASCAR race in North America this season and an array of commercial and promotional work.

All of this experience gives me the ability to offer a range that's hard to find. I'm easy to work with, great with deadlines and love what I do!

My Training

I graduated from college with a B.A. in communcations. I've been trained in voice and acting.

My Studio Equipment

I take this whole thing very seriously. This isn't a hobby - it's my career. I had a professional sound booth built that is completely sound insulated. I use a broadcast quality Voice-tronics mic (the same kind Don Immus and other syndicated personalities use). I have a broadcast pre-amp and use sophisticated software on my Apple computer.

Additional Skills

In addtion to reading scripts, I'm very experienced at writing them. I've written for many years and know how to reach out and grab the listener by using the right words.
