My Voice Experience

I have been a working professional vocalist in and around Vancouver, BC for 20 years and currently perform in a pub duo, as well as playing Stevie Nicks in a Fleetwood Mac tribute band and Frieda in an Abba tribute band both based out of Vancouver, BC.

Performed in two Janis Joplin tribute acts within the last 10 years.

Twenty years of extensive experience in the studio doing vocal recordings and some jingles, as well as performing live on stage in many different working bands as a lead vocalist/front person/musician.

In 1995 did a one time stint on an afternoon radio show on 99.3 THE FOX with Bill Courage and Erin Davis, popular radio announcers for Vancouver's hard rock radio station.
I read news and sports, bantered with the hosts and also sang some songs on-air.

My Training

Attended a Radio Announcing course in 1996 at the BC Institute of Technology and found I have a talent for reading news on-air.

I learned about doing voice overs from my peers in the music industry and from working in studios, recording my singing voice.

I'm a high school graduate and a BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer.

Additional Skills

To be completely honest, I haven't done a lot of voice-over work compared to some on this website, but I truly believe I am a natural talent.

My specialties include: having a fun, upbeat radio voice for commercials, a corporate, professional voice for voice mail greetings or on hold messages, and able to sing any kind of jingle for what any voice over job requires!

I feel confident in my abilities because of my 20yrs of experience singing live and in the studio.

Also, from previous work experience, I was always picked to run announcements over microphones in retail jobs, record messages for voicemail systems in an office environment, and emcee various musical events because of the sound and clear presentation of my voice.

I realize that a lot of people on this website have tons of voice over experience, but if you give my a try, you'll see that my professionalism, natural ability and unique voice will definitely get the job done!
