My Voice Experience

I've done several radio ads and voice over jobs for the Minneapolis radio station B96, 96.3 FM. I'm also a emcee for a DJ production company in New York, where I do alot of public speaking and hosting for a variety of events, such as weddings, fashion shows, school functions. I'm also a freelance writer.

My Training

English and Communications major and Howard University in Washington D.C. A great deal of on the job training also. I actually learned how to do voice overs by watching a dj at a local radio station. I also perform at open mics where I recite my poetry.

Additional Skills

I'm a High School English teacher, so I depend on my voice and character to demand attention from the students that I work with. It's good practice. You learn how to use your voice to take command of a room and a restless audience.
