Voice Description

My voice is deep and full-of-life for advertisment, soft and warm for narrations and delightfully fun for commercials. My dialects include: Irish, English (proper), Indian, mid-west, new yorker and southern. I do many character voices: Gulum (Lord of the Rings), Fievel (An American Tail), Ernie, Elmo, Cookie Monster (Sesame Street), Kermit the frog, Rowlf the dog, Floyd Pepper (The Muppets). I have many of my own characters as well: Timmy (a very intelligent special needs person with attitude), I can do speech impediments like stuttering and a lisp. As well as many barn-yard and zoo animal interpretations.

My Voice Experience

I can be heard on voice mail recordings at the New York Kids Club in New York City. I was the voice of Darvy, a troubled teen in an independant cartoon recorded in Minneapolis, MN. I have performed many acts which include a variation of all my voices and characters for the past ten years in bars and bowling alleys across the north-eastern United States.

My Training

My training began as a young child making odd noises in the bath-tub during cold Minnesota snow storms! I turned most of the odd sounds into music as I sang my way through school and out to New York to become an actor. Acting on stages through the U.S. gave me many opportunities to play with new sounds and characters. My training is my life experience, and mimicking the sounds of the world that I hear.
