My Voice Experience

Started doing celebrity impressions in grade school. Then later, in church, Puppet-acting, black character named "Roosevelt", a cool, hip-sounding child. Played Han Solo in a Star Wars spoof play. Soloist, doing comedy singing in Lexington, KY. Dubbed, "Entertainer for God".
Also, was an "acting props man" for the $25,000 Game Show in Branson, MO. Have introduced various acts or speakers for different audiences.
Narrated two Scripture tapes, which include music.
Being a singer/songwriter, have made 3 CDs.
Presently working on a comedy album with bogus commercials. Have done 2 radio shows, and 5 radio devotional spots.

My Training

Have mainly observed and studied and mimicked other voices and announcers, since I was a child.
Have practiced announcing for years, developing a smooth, but deep voice that is appealing. Most of my training has come from years of public speaking and speech class, as well as years of vocal (singing) training, and music training.

My Studio Equipment

Boss multitracker BR1130-CD, MVR mics, Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (computer editing), Tascam 488 and various effects.

Additional Skills

Am trained singer, have sung in choirs, groups, and solos. Also a trained musician, playing guitar, piano and drums. Though I do not actually read very much music, I read the chord charts and diagrams. I also write a lot of music.
