Voice Description
My vocal style is warm, friendly, and easy-going. Depending on the needs of the clients, I can also sound authoritative or hyper. The various accents I can speak are southern, surfer dude, valley girl, nerd, dirty old man. I can also sound like Cow from the cartoon Cow and Chicken. The most unique vocal ability I have is to turn any script into a song sung like Michael McDonald.

My Voice Experience
I grew up mimicking radio commercials and the DJs. I would also make up all kinds of crazy voices. My parents thought I was a strange little kid. (They still think I'm strange) I have worked with various producers to record promos for Cartoon Network to promote their website games. I have also recorded commercials for American Intercontinental University (AIU) for their various campuses around the United States. I have performed character voices for an independent film. Ultimately, I would love to create character voices for new cartoons and for video games.
My Training
I have a communications degree from The University of Southern Mississippi. During college, and a few years after college, I worked at four different radio stations, both as an on-air personality and as a writer and producer of several promos and commercials. Everytime I opened the microphone, I learned how to enhance my voice as an instrument. I will soon be attending a voiceover teleseminar hosted by Susan Berkley.

Additional Skills
I am able to easily adapt my voice to satisfy the creative vision of the producer, as well as exceed the expectations of the clients. I enjoy reading books about the voiceover business. The first book I ever read about voiceovers was "Putting Your Mouth Where The Money Is" by Chris Douthitt. I will always treat this business with professionalism, while at the same time have fun in this business because it is my passion.
