My Voice Experience

Began as a singer, lead vocalist for many bands--have won countless singing awards and represented Canada in Nashville, Hollywood and Laughlin Nevada in International Singing Competitions.
This led me to audition for Musical Theatre roles...landed a Lead on my first attempt! The Acting Bug bit hard and since then I have performed in well over 100 theatrical shows, most of them as a Lead Role. Was scouted by a Talent Agent and signed on for acting lessons to better my craft leading to roles on a TV Series, National Commercials, and in Film.

In the meantime, I became the Voice for all Branches of a National Bank on their IVR system...greeting customers and directing them to their Branch or hours of business, etc..

I have narrated Training Videos for Major Corporations, both on-and-off-screen.

I have been a character in an Anime Series through a local Animation Voice Shop.

I have taken numerous Voice Workshops with many instructors, including Debbie Munro, Paul Boucher, Chinook Animation.

I have worked in the teaching and customer service industry all my life. I love to learn about new cultures and meet new and interesting people from all walks of life.

I have travelled extensively allowing a unique perspective to everything I do.

I'm a Mom to 5 children--the beautiful result of a blended family--and Step-Grandma to 2 adorable little ones!

I ran a Children's Summer Day Camp which allowed me to utilize my skills as a teacher and singer. We all learned to speak American Sign language thanks to one of our Leaders-in-Training who is deaf...though a bit rusty, I can get back up to speed in no time!

Lead vocalist for a few Bands in my time, and diversity is my middle name...everything from Country to Rock to Pop to Soul and R&B...even spent a brief bit of time as part of an Opera Chorus thanks to a dare...taught myself an Aria for the audition!:)

I am a fun-loving, warm, friendly, respected, reliable, honest and trustworthy person with a great sense of humor and a love of life. Apparently I can drive some to distraction with my constant singing...just can't help myself!

I am not one to back away from a challenge---in fact, I relish the opportunities to learn something new and exciting.
