Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Naturalized Texan with a wide range of variations, from slightly Southern to downright full-blown more-swing-than-Dick-Dale cowboy.

Otherwise, I pretty much murder all other accents.
Not in a good way.

On-air talent (host) for a couple of specialty radio shows, since 1998 (88.7 The Choice KTCU).

VO for regional PSAs, Community Service TV promos.

Emcees live events, recently a film screening at Lone Star International Film Festival and The Good Show Live Music Series (on-going monthly, hosted by my radio show).

Admittedly maintains affection for non-profits, The Arts; folks who love their pets, community, small businesses, kids and other folks with active imaginations.

Reads books weekly to kids at local schools.

Can do a passable Cookie Monster impersonation (references available, in Crayon and Sparkly Glue), as well as Mojo Nixon (references also available in aforementioned media).

Additional Skills

Play a bunch of instruments, most of them poorly; but have been told by people I trust (and not directly related to me) that my trombone skills are exceptional.

Most of the rest of my experience includes print and content production (newspapers, books, magazines, web sites), professional sales (print, IP Network, self), freelance writing and illustration work, mostly in the fields of emerging musical talent, humorous, political, and kids' stuff.

Although I appreciate the professionalism of conventional vehicles, I'm always open to unconventional ones too. Could my voice be the next Space Ghost or Captain Murphy?

Whichever the case, I always take my VO work seriously.
