My Voice Experience

I'm a medical doctor by profession, but am frequently advised that I have a "radio voice" and should do radio announcements and voiceovers. Recently I recorded a radio advertisement, and was astonished by the number of acquaintances who heard it and recognized my voice. The ad was played on the radio in the greater Boston area for 2 months.

As faculty member of a prestigious medical school, senior Naval officer, and experienced aircraft pilot, I have a diverse background and vocabulary, all of which comes through in my voice.

As a practicing physician and medical school faculty member, I'm conversant with scientific verbage. I'm a Captain in the United States Navy Reserve Medical Corps, and Iraq War veteran. With 1400 flight hours as an instrument-rated multi-engine pilot, I'm familiar and comfortable with military and aviation jargon. I can provide proofreading services and consult on the use of technical language pertaining to my specialties.
